Rufford 

I decided to start Rufford Steam Works because I wanted to provide a honest, high quality service to model engineers. I'm based near Brampton, Cumbria in the North of England. Model engineering is my hobby and passion. I love travelling the country, visiting different clubs and rallies when I can. 

 

I have a Degree in Mechanical Design Engineering but for nearly a decade, I have been working professionally within model engineering. I have worked on or rebuilt countless model locos and scale traction engine. I can assist you in any element of model engineering you require, from machining or making individual parts, to full rebuilds and recommissioning. I also take commissions for  scratch built engines.
